What Data Does The Leaf Moisture Sensor Provide?
Leaf Moisture
Utilizing frequency-domain sensing (FDR), the soil is used as a capacitor to measure the maximum resonant frequency in the electrical circuit and relate the resonant frequency to water content.
Leaf Temperature
A Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD) measures the resistance change as temperature changes, providing an accurate temperature reading with low-power consumption and great durability.
Frost Alarms
Soil electrical conductivity (EC) is measured and corrected by the temperature measurements to determine the level of salts in soil (salinity). This parameter is a vital indicator of soil fertility and health.
